What’s The Best Advice Mom Ever Gave You?

I have been trying to get from my kids the answer to the following question:

“What’s the best advice Mom ever gave you?”

They wanted no part of it…until I pleaded got lucky and found them both in a good mood and willing to answer…

But the answers they gave? Really? That is the best they could come up with after all these years of parenting??

  1. After reading this post, I posed the question to my 9 year-old daughter who replied that the best advice I’ve ever given her is “Don’t take drugs”.

Having heard/seen in the media of so many celebrities sadly dying from drug overdoses over the past couple of years, along with me discussing the many dangers of taking drugs with her, it seems the message has sunk in. :)

    • That is geat!! It feels good when you realize our kids really do listen to what we say.
It has been sad to see those so young pass on due to their addictions. Such talent.

Keep it up! You are doing great mama!
